Do you do free quotes?
Yes — free on-site quotes for local jobs around Franklin and nearby suburbs. Travel charges may apply for further-out work. Send photos or video first if you can — it helps quote faster.
What areas do you cover?
Franklin, Pukekohe, Waiuku, Papakura, Hamilton, Waihi, plus anywhere reasonable nearby. Outside that list, send the address anyway — happy to take a look.
What kind of jobs do you take on?
Decks and pergolas, fences and gates, small renovations, outdoor improvements, and roofing repairs. If it's carpentry-led, Troy can usually do it.
What jobs don't you do?
Electrical, Plumbing, Tiling, Plastering, Concrete — those go to specialists. Happy to point you in the right direction if asked.
How quickly will you reply?
Replies usually come through at lunch or in the evenings. For anything urgent, calling or WhatsApp is faster than email or the form.
How long does a deck or pergola take?
Depends on size and prep work, but most decks and pergolas land in the 2–7 day range once we're on site. We'll give you a realistic timeline with the quote.
Do you handle building consents?
For most small decks, fences, gates, and outdoor work in NZ, no consent is needed. For bigger work that does need one, we'll flag it during the quote and walk you through what's required.
